Mount Pleasant Men’s Shed

After a long fundraising process, the Mount Pleasant Mens’ Shed was established in 2018. Situated in Old Talunga Park, the shed provides a place where blokes can work on projects or just chill. The Shed also offers a range of community services - offers free health and community related workshops.

Mount Pleasant Branch of the South Australian Country Women’s Association

Meeting in the Soldiers’ Memorial Hall on the first Tuesday in the month from March to December, the CWA is an active group and member of the Hills area. Meet for Coffee, Craft and Chat from 9.30am on meeting day. You don’t have to be a member to join us - and you also don’t need to be crafty! about our local group, please go to the Facebook page. Mount Pleasant Branch of the Red Cross

The Red Cross group meets bi-monthly in the Soldiers’ Memorial Hall.

Each year in February, since the nineties, a Garden Party is held to raise funds for the Red Cross, in the grounds of Glen Devon, and for all of that time, Sophie Thomson has been our special guest.
