Anzac Day Dawn Services
Anzac design at Freeling
For the third year running, Harrison Schuster has ploughed a massive Australia Day tribute into his family’s paddock near Freeling in the Barossa Valley — this time honouring the ANZACs.
Spanning dozens of hectares and mapped with GPS precision from his engineering background, the artwork blends Australian icons with a soldier standing ready. It will remain etched into the land until it’s finally tilled over after ANZAC Day. From Facebook - thank you Kurt Mahlburg.
Mount Pleasant
Mount Torrens Twilight Service 19 April
Come and join us in remembering our veterans, past and present at the Mt Torrens Centenary Park Oval. This is a bit different to the normal dawn service in as much as we will be conducting the ceremony at 5.30PM on Sunday 19th April. We will have a sausage sizzle afterwards where you can meet some of our local veterans.
