The long awaited revival - Datsun Day 2023 - proudly hosted by Adelaide Datsun Club.
Birdwood Motor Museum gates open at 10am on the day. To avoid traffic congestion, we will ONLY be entering via the Church st entrance. You will not be able to enter via any other gate.
At the gate, we will collect $15 per car load - cash is king, EFTPOS also available but will incur a 1.6% surcharge. Each car entrant will be given a goody bag and raffle ticket for door prizes at the end of the day.
We are looking for sponsors for goody bag merch and/or door prizes - calling on local businesses for support - please reach out to Hayley Slater ADC admin if you're able to support. Examples of goody bag items, stubby coolers, pens, stickers, flyers etc, great way to promote your business! Door prizes can include car wash kits, business vouchers, anything you can help with.
The cost to enter is not a Motor Museum entry fee - this is covered by Shannons Insurance. This fee is to cover the operating costs for the day, ie traffic marshalls, vendors, bouncy castle etc.
Only Datsun badged vehicles or organisers support vehicles will be allowed entry via Church st. Anyone else coming along to join in the fun will need to park in the external car park and enter and pay via the Motor Museum.
We are still finalising food vendors for the day, if you have any suggestions, please let us know, otherwise will likely be a bbq hosted by a local community group, along with coffee van etc.
Alcohol is permitted on the oval, and a small BBQ if you wish. Bring your camping chairs and find a nice shady spot for a relaxing day.
Bouncy castle will be available for the kids to give you a breather!
Anyone wanting to set up a small trade stand that doesn't require power, please feel free to promote your car related business.
Some Datsun merchandise will be available for sale (tshirts, stubby coolers, stickers etc).
Door prize draw will be at 2:30pm sharp. Event festivities conclude at 3pm
Number one priority for your all at this point - blow the dust off the datto - you have exactly three months from today to get it there! Even if it's on the back of a trailer as an unfinished project, bring it along!
Meet point cruises for the day for North and South are yet to come, watch this space
Be great if you could RSVP so we have an idea on numbers thanks!
